Sneak Peek: Amy & Tommy’s Wedding
Project 35 – Week 9, Wish Upon a Wedding
Last night was the launch party for Wish Upon a Wedding Boston and New England Chapter, an organization that provides weddings and vow renewals to couples who have life altering circumstances which prevent them from having their dream day. Not only was the support there in numbers, but in the quality of the vendors and participants. It was great to see Jim from CJC Event Lighting, Elizabeth and Adrienne from Gracie Lou Events and Aram from Aram O. Photography among the crowd. Thank you Artists for Humanity Epicenter for hosting!
Before I heard about Wish Upon a Wedding, I had been looking for a way to give back with my photography. There are so many amazing programs out there that offer family portraits, senior portraits, bereavement sessions, event coverage and more. My passion, however, lies in wedding photography, and I wanted to give couples that specific enthusiasm back. A few months ago I saw a link to Wish Upon a Wedding on facebook (gotta love Facebook!) and I clicked it. The organization is exactly what I have been looking to be a part of and I am so excited to be a Wish Granter. So in honor of the new chapter, I thought it would be fitting to have my weekly photo be from their party. Enjoy!
Amy & David’s Wedding
When I arrived to photograph Amy and David’s wedding a few weeks ago, I noticed one thing right away: they are loved. It was wonderful to see such a close-knit system of family and friends supporting Amy and David on their big day. Their ceremony at St. Agatha’s Catholic Church was beautiful and the reception was relaxed and fun, a fabulous Memorial Day weekend wedding!
Project 35 – Week 8
Mary & Tim’s Portrait
Mary and Tim have been an absolute joy to photograph. From their wedding to a bridal portrait to a couples portrait, they have been open to all kinds of fun ideas and have the most amazing, upbeat attitudes about photography. They love each other so much and even being around them for short periods of time, you can tell they are truly good friends. Here are a few shots from a portrait we did at Union Station in Worcester together. The sun was just right, and on a Saturday morning the station was so quiet…. perfect!
Ashley & Craig Family Portrait
Ashley and Craig were married about a year and a half ago and I was so happy to be their photographer! I got to spend some more time with them recently for a family portrait at Coggshall Park in Fitchburg. They are all super sweet and their two kids have so much energy! The kids played on the playground, we walked around the pond looking for turtles and hung out in the gazebo watching the fish. What a fabulous way to start a weekend!
